I like this cover. It has pink on the border (my favorite color) but it is not overwhelming. THe fact that the middle is clear and showcases the original color of the laptop is fantastic. Fits perfectly and does not restrain the screen from opening all the way as the previous cover would. The only thing is the the back corners are not completely covered so if you drop it you have a chance of ruining the corners. Still a fantastic buy!

incorrect blue, January 28, 2012

the blue showed is no where near the color of the actual product. it appears to be a nice aqua blue or even a light blue, but when i pulled it out of the box the color was very off. the product color is an actual royal blue. there are no light tones at all. i just read a review written the day before i bought it and they stated theirs was a navy blue, which is again far from light blue or even royal blue. this will be the last time we order a laptop cover from amazon. the first one, the company all of a sudden flaked out with the order. the second one we ordered arrived broke. now this one was very misleading as to what was showed. my daughter uses it, but of course doesn’t like it. it suits the purpose, but honestly the purpose was to have color choices. you are not really saving money when you get products that end up looking like something you would not even buy at a store!

Just what I wanted, November 25, 2011

I was looking for a simple cover that would protect the exterior of my 15″ macbook pro taking it in and out of my laptop bag and the daily use around the house and at the office. I was already getting scratches from the zipper and other things in my bag. I was also wanting some sort of protection in case i dropped it (I figured it was inevitable).
The iLuv cover arrived quickly and went on easily. I was surprised how securely the top and bottom adhere without much buy (it grips the corners). Its simple to remove if and when things get between the cover and the laptop. The rubber corners are reasonable protection in case of bumps or drops and the clear cover still lets the classy body of the laptop show through. The bottom cover has vents if your laptop has them, mine does not. It closes completely and adds just a minor amount of weight and size. Still better than the Dell I upgraded from without a cover. Its just what I wanted and well worth the cost.

I love this product. Apple doesn't seem to make computers that are scratch resistent, so this actually gives my notebook like an upgrade. Fits perfectly and would recommend to all.

i recently bought this case as well as a blue cover for my brother. I must say that I am quite pleased with this product with the exception of a few flaws.

pro:
well built,
strong and durable,
bright,
the tab legs (brings computer to a nice comfortable angle for typing),
does not block any ports,
Protect the mac very well (banged the computer against a wall and there were no scratches or scuffs on the case nor any affect on my mac),
vents on the bottom help cool down the computer
silicon padded footing prevents computer from slipping around;)
Excellent price (2 for 50)

con: there is a small air pocket on the top cover which does bother me, but it’s very trivial. Colour is more fluorescent than intended;) I was expecting a blood orange-ish colour, but it came bright neon orange ( i still like it though), Blue was exceptionally gorgeous.
The case is on so tight and those tabs that hold the case on the mac are soo tough, that I can’t figure out how to take off the cover @.@ maybe i’m just too weak.

overall, if you like BRIGHT NEON, then this is for you. If you don’t, the Blue is very rich and dark. Both are highly recommended and are at a fantastic price.
They also come with keyboard gel covers which clean the keyboard nicely:)

This HDD caddy adaptor does its job. I place it in my macbook unibody and it works well. The only problem I ran into is it is missing a couple of holes that the stock optical drive had for mounting but with a small creativity I was able to make it fit. The small plastic piece that holds the HDD in the caddy is flimsy so I used some electrical tape to keep it from rattling. The piece is not needed at all if you mount the HDD to the caddy using the mounting holes on the under sided of the caddy. Over all it is worth the money when you consider that this one is one of the cheapest caddy’s you can buy. I would recommend it to a friend.

I bought this adapter to place a second hard drive in my early 2011 15″ Macbook Pro. It’s a cheap option, but there are a few things you need to know:

- There a bit of plastic that you need to cut off. It’s not hard to do if you have something that cuts plastic (I used a Dremel). See photo.
- When you take out the optical drive there are three screws holding it in place. This adapter doesn’t screw into those holes – it sits snugly in the spot, but is not screwed it.
- The adapter carries the number 62P4553 – which appears to be a 2nd hard drive adapter for an IBM Lenovo machine.
- When you place the hard drive in the adapter there’s nothing holding the hard drive in place, apart from a snug fit with the connector. A excellent bump and your hard drive will disconnect (mine did!). You’ll need something to place between the drive and the adapter to hold it in place. See photo.

So, it works just fine, but I wouldn’t call it brilliant. I wish it screwed it and was made for the MBP.

Took out my optical drive and replaced it with a second hard drive. As other reviewers have noted, there are no screw holes to attach the drive to the adapter nor the adapter to the BMP. The fit is snug enough that I’m not worried about anything moving. As another reviewer noted, there is a piece of plastic that gets in the way. Instead of breaking it, I found that you can pry it away from the side of the adapter and it will come off. Simple mod and fantastic way to add a second hard drive.

Also, it’s spec’d as a 9.5mm drive adapter. I did get a 1T 12.5mm drive in, but it’s really too much stress on the bottom plate and a cable that fit over the drive bay in the case. Stick to 9.5mm or find another adapter. I place a 750G Scorpio Black in instead.

On a side note, I also ordered an external enclosure to place the optical drive in. Because it’s a slot load (so you wont have a face plate at all) and Apple design (screw holes don’t line up with the case), it’s not a excellent solution. Save yourself the distress and just order an external DVD burner for a couple more bucks. My optical is going into a drawer instead.
